About SBIR/STTR Agencies
The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are managed by 11 federal agencies. Each agency sets aside a portion of its extramural R&D budget for these programs, creating opportunities for small businesses to engage in high-tech research and development.
